Travel in an open-air safari truck to historic Old Road town, taking in the scenic views along the way. Then with your experienced guide at the helm and armed with your hiking sticks, make you way through the lush, dense Caribbean rainforest that rises up into the clouds. You will explore this forested woodland, and encounter ancient trees and exotic plants and flowers, and maybe see the elusive green vervet monkeys, scampering among the trees, tropical birds, butterflies and tree frogs.
You will travel along well worn footpaths and make your own clearing from time to time as your expert guide informs and educates in a fun, informal way, on the medical applications and uses of the plants and flowers, handed down from many generations and still very much in use today as the value and use of plants in a healthy living lifestyle sees new interest.
